Trunk Club this week launched a new partnership that would make fans of the film 'La La Land' very happy. The personal styling service and costume designer Mary Zophres collaborated to create looks inspired by the Academy Award-winning film, in support of the launch of 'La La Land' on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 25.

Zophres, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her work on 'La La Land', put together women’s looks inspired by Mia, the female lead character played by Emma Stone, and men’s looks inspired by Ryan Gosling’s character, Sebastian. The curated trunk features bright colored dresses and classic accessories, and sport coats and trousers that are very similar to the outfits Stone and Gosling wear on the La La Land poster.

"'La La Land's' timeless themes and classic styles align perfectly with what we believe as a company: investing in essential pieces, wearing clothing that works for you and your lifestyle, and building a timeless and personalized wardrobe," said Linda Bartman, chief marketing officer at Trunk Club. "We saw those tenants come to life in the film, and that's what we do for our customers every day. 'La La Land' inspired us to partner and bring these looks into the closets of our customers."

La La Land, which won six Academy Awards and a record-breaking seven Golden Globe awards, is the first major partner of Trunk Club since the appointment of Terry Boyle as President of Trunk Club.

Trunk Club’s La La Land trunk is available for a limited time. Customers can contact their stylist to request the trunk.
