U.S. Polo Assn and FIP sign agreement

U.S. Polo Assn has signed an agreement with the Federation of International Polo (FIP), lthe international federation comprising 11 national polo associations and 19,000 members. FIP represents polo in over 80 nations worldwide and is officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

The fashion brand will be the official apparel supplier to the FIP European Championship scheduled in Berlin from 26th August to 4th September. U.S. Polo Assn will outfit the FIP's management and eight national polo teams: Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia. The kit provided will include team jerseys, jackets, caps and carrier bags.

The sport of polo has always been the US brand's main source of inspiration. The label is managed under licence in Europe by the Incom group from Montecatini Terme (Italy), one of the Italian government's chief military apparel suppliers, which looks after the clothing lines, and by the Bonis group with regards to footwear.
