UK's Bonmarché names new Chairman, makes directorate changes

John Coleman, a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee at British plus-size womenswear retailer Bonmarché, has been appointed Chairman of the company.

Coleman is an industry veteran who has previously been the CEO of House of Fraser, CEO of Texas Homecare, Managing Director of Dorothy Perkins, Managing Director of Top Man, and Managing Director of Top Shop.

He replaces Tim Mason, who has stepped down as Chairman and left the company's board. Mason is also stepping down as a partner of Sun European Partners, LLP, whose affiliate is the Company's majority shareholder. His place on the board will be taken by Michael Hayes Kalb.

Bonmarché has named Ishbel Macpherson Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
