Spanish jewelry brand UNOde50 is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a retail expansion in North America. The global brand this year opened four stores in the US at Disney Springs in Florida, Valley Fair and Stanford in California, and Lenox Square in Georgia.
UNOde50 currently operates 100 stores in 40 countries, 21 of which are located in its home country Spain. The brand kicked off its North America expansion in 2016, and recently opened a new store at New York City’s World Trade Center. UNOde50 plans to open a retail location at San Francisco Center this winter and stores in Century City, SoHo in New York City, and Carrefour Laval in Montreal in 2017.
The jewelry brand launched in the 1990s with a collection of 50 “one-of-a-kind” pieces that inspired its name. Today, the brand has locations in Milan, London, Paris, Toronto, Madrid, Berlin, Tokyo, Moscow, Panama and Rome, as well as a flagship store in Barcelona. UNOde50 also has 26 locations in the US in New York, Las Vegas, San Diego, Dallas, Miami, Tampa, Newport Beach, Los Angeles, Palm Desert and Boston.
In addition to expanding its retail presence to North America, UNOde50 launched its 20th Anniversary Collection consisting of 20 best-selling pieces from each year the company has been in business. Some pieces from the collection include the Padlock from 1996, the Watermelon ring from 2006, and the A-R-M-O-R ring from 2015.
UNOde50 plans to open 100 retail stores within the next five years.
