Under Armour launched on Monday the brand's first-ever Connected Fitness product portfolio in Canada.
The line of devices, already available in the U.S., includes several products such as the UA Band, a sport band that automatically tracks steps, distance, resting heart rate and sleep; the UA Scale, a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled scale that measures weight and body fat percentage; and the UA Heart Rate, a compact heart rate monitor that features a micro snap technology designed to provide comfort during workouts. Items can be purchased separately or bought as a whole under the UA HealthBox for $549 CAD.
The company also launched UA Headphones Wireless, on Monday.
Under Armour partnered with HTC for the line of UA products and with Harman to provide first-class sport headphones.
"Today's launch in Canada is a true testament to Under Armour's global commitment to changing the way athletes live," says Jason LaRose, senior vice president of digital revenue at Under Armour, in a news statement. "Through our strategic brand partners and key retailers, we'll continue to grow our global community and empower athletes worldwide with the tools they need to help them perform better and exercise smarter."
The entire line of products is available for pre-order now on UA.com and will begin to ship in Canada on May 23. Products will also be sold at participating North American retailers later this year.
