VF Corp's Eastpak will relaunch in North America in 2018

VF Corporation is relaunching its heritage backpack and luggage brand Eastpak in the US and Canada beginning in January 2018.

Eastpak will relaunch with an assortment of core packs, soft side luggage, and heritage leather bags. The brand will also roll out its premium Lab line, which features higher-end materials and design, and has plans to launch a series of special projects and collaborations with labels including Vetements, Undercover, MGSM, and Raf Simons.

Vice President and General Manager of Eastpak, Stefano Saccone said in a release, "We are very excited to re-introduce the Eastpak brand to the North American market."

Eastpak will relaunch in the US and Canada through an exclusive distribution agreement with ZoneTwo USA, which has led Eastpak's business in the UK since 2014.

To kick off the relaunch, ZoneTwo is opening a new showroom in the Flatiron District of NYC. Eastpak will also be showing brand presentations at Agenda in Long Beach and Liberty in New York in January.

While Eastpak was on a decade-long hiatus in North America, it continued to develop its brand presence in Europe, contributing to VF Corp's international portfolio of brands since it was acquired in 2000. Eastpak will also show its FW18 collection at Pitti Uomo, Seek and Revolver in Europe.

Eastpak's NY Flatiron store is slated to open January 2018. The first formal collection after the relaunch will become available in North America in Fall 2018.
