Vancouver Fashion Week announces AW17 details

Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) announced on Monday details for its 29th consecutive season.
 
Set to take place March 20 to the 26, the shows will be held at the David Lam Hall in downtown Vancouver, where designers, media, buyers and agents will be welcomed to explore and discover seven days of ready-to-wear runway presentations from around the globe.

 
The autumn/winter 2017 season showcase will welcome a range of national and international designers. Returning designers include, Katherine Tessier (Canada) and Tieler James (USA), while first-time showers will include Hattitude by Christina LIichy (Denmark) and Wildfraulein 71 BY Roop Shimura (Japan).
 
The event will kick off on March 20 with an Opening Gala for designers, celebrities, VIPS and industry stalwarts.

VFW is the fifth largest fashion event in the world. It was founded by producer, Jamal Abdourahman in 2001.
