Vans Customs comes to Canada

Canadian Vans customers can now get their own custom shoes from the action sports footwear, apparel and accessories brand with a simple click of a button.

The Vans brand has officially rolled out its online customization feature in Canada on Vans.ca.

Baptized “Customs”, the online feature is available for Vans’ 5 Classic Icons including Authentic, Era, Old Skool, Classic Slip-On and Sk8-Hi, both in their original form and Classic Lite, All-Weather and Pro Skate models.

Customers can customize their shoes with a range of fabrics in a variety of colours, materials and designs to create over 800 million combinations. Moreover, consumers can equally upload their own original art on the Authentic and Classic Slip-On models.

“Vans’ long history of customization began when the first Vans store opened in Anaheim, California, where Paul Van Doren incorporated his customer’s favourite fabrics into their Vans shoes. Vans Customs continues this tradition of connecting personally with consumers in pursuit of their goal to empower individuals to express themselves through Vans products like never before,” the company said in a news statement.

Despite Vans Customs being a brand tradition since 1966, this is the first time the feature is available online in Canada.
