W Magazine and Hugo Boss joined forces in the 'The Shot' competition, setting out to discover photography's next star. They have awarded the prize to British photographer Agnes Lloyd-Platt, 26, who was selected among 1,500 entrants.

Lloyd-Platt hails from London and is a graduate of the London College of Fashion. A free-lance professional until now, she also earned a commission for a photo-shoot for one of W Magazine's future issues, and one of Hugo Boss' upcoming campaigns.

The winner was selected by a jury made up of Stefano Tonchi, editor-in-chief of W Magazine, Jason Wu, Hugo Boss' Creative Director, photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and the curator of the International Center of Photography, Charlotte Cotton.
