Want Apothecary to open first US store in New York City

Want Apothecary is heading to New York City. The unique retail concept from Want Les Essentiels designers Byron and Dexter Peart and partners Mark Wiltzer and Jacqueline Gelber is slated to open at the NoMad Hotel in New York City on March 4, marking as the first Want Apothecary location in the US.
 

The New York City location will feature a dedicated apothecary counter showcasing brands such as Susanne Kaufmann, Grown Alchemist, Cosmetics 27 and Verso Skincare. Brands such as Acne Studios, Jil Sander, Byredo Parfums, Aspesi and Fleur du Mal will also be available in store, as well as Want Les Essentiels accessories, which will be showcased on a feature wall. In addition, Maria Rosa di Ioia designed the store interior, referencing a classic apothecary.

Byron and Dexter Peart, Wiltzer and Gelber opened the first Want Apothecary in Montreal in 2011. The team later opened locations in Toronto and Vancouver in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
 
The Want Apothecary New York City store will be located at 1170 Broadway.
