Yandy has found its new leader in technology, media and e-commerce veteran Thom Brodeur. The online retailer for women’s apparel announced on Wednesday that Brodeur has been appointed CEO of the company, succeeding founder Chad Horstman.

Brodeur brings over 20 years of technology, digital marketing, media and e-commerce experience to Yandy. Prior to joining the company, he worked at GoDaddy, Marketwired, EmpowHER, Tallwave, Digital Air Strike and Maria Shireen in brand development, marketing, operations, sales, strategic planning and technology roles.

In addition to the appointment, Horstman will remain as co-owner of the company and will continue to serve on the Yandy Board of Directors.

"As with most successful start-ups, the time comes when a business transitions into the next phase of its growth," said Horstman, Yandy's Founding CEO. "Following 10 years of rapid growth, we are fortunate to have reached that point, and couldn't be more excited to have someone of Thom's experience, passion and integrity leading Yandy through this next chapter."

Founded in 2005, Yandy is one of the largest online retailers for women’s intimate apparel and Halloween costumes. The company later launched a private label, and in 2016 expanded its product offering with the launch of a swimwear line and a Mix-n-Match bikini collection.
