Yorkdale’s Concept space puts focus on special occasion wear

Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre has launched a prom and special occasion boutique in its pop-up space.

The 3,600-square-foot pop-up retail environment, baptized Concept, first opened in April and is dedicated to giving innovative brands a retail area at Canada’s most successful shopping centre in order to further help them reach consumers.

From now until March 31, the space is dedicated to prom, wedding, and special occasion fashion and beauty vendors, marking Concept’s fifth iteration.

Among the newly announced brands, shoppers will be able to find Dyson Supersonic Styling, offering complimentary styling consultation; Lipcandy, a beauty brand that creates handcrafted lipstick; Shari Gold, which offers a variety of lash services; and Nevon Collections, featuring customizable and interchangeable jewellery pieces.

Previously, Yorkdale’s Concept space has been dedicated to Canadian fashion brands, as well as food-centric brands.
