Z Zegna, guest of honor at Pitti Uomo 86

The guest of honor for the next edition of Pitti Uomo will be Z Zegna, following in the footsteps of Diesel Black Gold, Kolor, Maison Kitsuné and Carven. The young fashion line created by Ermenegildo Zegna, the emblematic Piedmontese menswear company that generally shows in Milan, will present its Spring/Summer 2015 collection on June 19 during the Florentine menswear trade show held from June 17 to 20, said show organizer Pitti Immagine on its website.

Since 2011, the Z Zegna line has been drawn up by the British designer Paul Surridge, who previously worked for Jil Sander, Burberry and Calvin Klein. In a few seasons, the designer has managed to label the brand into a more international and relaxed style, stripped of excess, developing a wardrobe at the same time elegant, dynamic and creative.

"We are very happy that a large international player in men's fashion, such as Zegna, will premiere, at Pitti Uomo, Z Zegna, its young and innovative collection, which revisits formal attire through a ‘sports lens’. Inspired by metropolitan life style, this line is very much in tune with the experimental nature of our show," said Gaetano Marzotto, president of Pitti Immagine.
