It's a first for Zadig & Voltaire in New York. On February 13, the Parisian fashion label, to celebrate its 20th anniversary, will show the men's and women's collections for A/W 2017/18 together in NY's Chelsea district. The area is known for its art galleries, definitely a plus for the label's founder, Thierry Gillier, who is also an art collector.

Zadig & Voltaire will show in New York, with the US being its second market after France

Zadig & Voltaire was shown on the catwalks for the first time in Paris in October 2013, and is planning to adopt a fresh approach for the New York event, by showcasing its women's and men's together.

The show is the brainchild of the label’s Creative Director Cecilia Bönström, who has conceived it as a tribute to the US fashion capital, often a source of inspiration for her.

The US is Zadig & Voltaire’s second market after France. The fashion label set up shop in the US for the first time in 2005, opening a store in Los Angeles, and now operates another 24 stores in the country, as well as a showroom and dedicated teams for the US and Canadian markets.

The show’s other innovative element will be the adoption of the 'see now, buy now' concept. Eight items from the collection, which includes ready-to-wear apparel and accessories, will be instantly available for worldwide online purchase during the event.
