Zalando to sponsor upcoming 080 Barcelona Fashion
Online retailer Zalando has strengthened its ties with Spanish showcase 080 Barcelona Fashion with a new sponsorship deal. Zalando will the event’s main sponsor alongside Spanish beer brand Moritz.
Taking place on 26-30 June, 080 Barcelona is set to celebrate its 20th edition in the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, and its director Miquel Rodriguez unveiled this morning new details about the event. The announcement was made at Mortiz’s legendary brewery, marking the brand’s return as a sponsor.
Zalando will also host the fashion event’s anniversary party. To commemorate the 20th edition, Zalando will host an after party as part of the agenda of 080 Barcelona Fashion Nights.
With this partnership, Zalando demonstrates its support to Spanish designers and brands, and contributes to the common goal of promoting Spanish fashion internationally.
In addition to hosting the official 080 Barcelona Fashion party, the agreement between Zalando and 080 secures Zalando’s presence within the event’s VIP area.
According to the organisation, the new edition of the showcase will set a new record with 37 runway shows. The event will also include activities such as the 080 Investor Day, Texmeeting by Texfor and the 080 Fashion Showroom.
Other sponsors of 080 Barcelona Fashion include Redken, Royal Bliss, La Roca Village, Gramona, Movistar and Rowenta.
