H&M Studio- WOMENSWEAR collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in Paris (with interview)

Location: Bourse du Commerce, Paris. A choir, a snowy tree, golden cubes.Inspiration: Sweden, its culture and the way the women dress between comfort, layering, a play on volumes and especially attitude.+ A Gaucho spirit with hats and foulards Focus: long flowing silhouettes, loose coats, including one in camel & sleeveless, baggy trouser suit, tops in transparent lace, midnight blue velvet, airy dresses + Details of accessories: belts, hats, jewellery, kind of cowboy boots Note: a fashion for all promoted by H & M with a mannequin, Ashley Graham, with shapes that catwalk+ Amber Valletta walks twice+ The mother, Pat Cleveland and her daughter, Anna, also on the stage+ The top models ; Natasha Poly, Jourdann Dunn, Lineisy Montero, etc ...Interview from Ann-Sofie Johansson: We started out, or rather the design team started out with really thinking about our Swedish heritage really, Swedish Fauna and Flora, Swedish handicraft and folk law but also Swedish icons like Ingrid Bergman for example and what a great woman she was and the strength she had and also fairy tales in a way. So as you can see there are a lot of influences and then it is a bit gaucho with the hats and the boots because that felt right for the clothes also to give them a bit of attitude. I think the idea of masculinity vs femininity had a power suit again, but we also talked about femininity as you can see the waist coming through again, that is coming back, beautiful shoulders. So as I said, it is a strong silhouette but there is also a bit of added fluidity because it should be very easy and easy to wear.We wanted to do a varied line up really as H&M is all about diversity and we wanted to show that a woman today can live in so many different ways and anybody should be able to enjoy fashion. Music of the show, (donot reuse for more than 7 days after the show)
