So my approach is that I look at ideas and I try to purify them. Also it is mixed with my wardrobe, none of this is literal, it is an idea that I have mixed with my language. It is not a mechanical process but there is an order and within that order I try to weave in other ideas.I like the idea of always having something structured and something soft as well. It is not a wardrobe as such; it is really a case of creating clothing for different occasions. I think my woman is someone who dresses for the occasion, so she could be boyish during the day but then super sexy at night. I like this duality. For that section the whole thing was based on German fairytales, so I took words from fairytales and we wove them into the fabrics, so they were kind of jacquards that were in the fabric. Instead of looking at fairytale imagery, I thought it was much more powerful to look at the words because there are a lot of long German words that are really beautiful and poetic.
