Best of 2016 : The most spectacular staging !

Return on the most spectacular, magical or emotionally intense staging of the year 2016. The designers competed with imagination and the way to convey a message, an idea, and their vision of fashion. A big trend dominated the year : a wind of optimism blew on the shows, with festive shows, this was the case at Philipp Plein with his merry go round, his fanfare, the fantasy world of Alice in Wonderland and a wild finale with Fergie. The carnival is also the decor chosen for the last collection of Tommy Hilfiger or at Kris Van Assche for Dior homme with a Russian mountain illuminated by multicolored lights. At Dolce & Gabbana, it’s a gang of Neapolitans who invade the catwalk for a lively dance. The dance is equally at the heart of Antonio Marras’ show, which transports us to Africa in the 50s… a dance which closes Stella McCartney’s show…the models have provided the show with delightful choreography by Blanca Li.Joy is also expressed during the Jean-Paul Gaultier’s coutures show, reviving the palace, legendary club from Parisian nights in the 80s.Or Berluti with his joyful and friendly atmosphere…Fashion in line with the street ? The designers have reinvested in the city. The edge of the seine, for Paul & Joe, Les Halles for Koché or le jardin des plantes at night fall, for Givenchy. As for Ralph Lauren who closed Madison Avenue in order to show his collection on the whole street. The poetry of Dries van Noten always have an effect, with floral compositions exposed in ice blocs, made by Azuma Makato. Works of bucolic and extremely visual art have amazed the guests.Another show, another ambiance, that of Kenzo, with completely bare human beings alongside antique statues in the musée de l’homme in Paris or the women of Iris Van Herpen who take breaks in a churchChanel is certainly the label in which the staging is the most amazing and awaited. Karl Lagerfeld, always in line with the times and with the evolving world, planted his Data center in the heart of the Grand Palais.Burberry, Issey Miyaké called on artists for live performances, because one thing is sure, the show must convey an emotion, create a buzz, in a time where images are premium, the show must strike hard! No staging but a touching and terribly human image, that of Edun, the designer who goes out with her newborn in her arms!Music free of right : Bandit & Nikit
