Artistic Director : Giambattista ValliAmbiance : a forest, with dead leaves on the groundInspiration : a Parisian’s journey to Canada, with her very “Coco” little tweed jacket.Collection : a romantic and autumnal silhouette, with many propositions and soft and enveloping materialsFocus : on the floral prints, the embroidery and the colourful patchwork The ruffles on the bottom of the miniskirts and the tops’ round sleeves giving an elegant femininity to this very protective and functional Moncler wardrobe. To note : the many propositions of backpacks and the Canadian police on horses who encircle the models for the finale. Interview with Giambattista Valli :Moncler is fragments of a wardrobe, it’s the pieces that we use in superposition, then the idea is to also have these cultural superposition’s, there is this French girl, Parisian, it’s a bit of a continuation from the girl of yesterday from my collection, she has a little suit, quite ‘Coco’, and then she leaves with her back pack, she lands in Canada, because it’s an extraordinary country, especially right now, it gives off a welcoming image. For me, this time it was Canada, she dresses in the colours, she dresses in this panorama, of these landscapes, with the small flowers, it is a girl who camping in nature. Moncler is something very sporty and very masculine, but here it’s a girl, so it’s pretty for Moncler Gamme Rouge to dedicate it a little more to the feminine wardrobe.
