’47 Brand partners with United Arrows and Hombre Nino on cap collection

Accessories brand ’47 Brand, United Arrows and Hombre Nino came together just in time for World Series and launched a capsule collection of baseball caps.

The capsule collection includes baseball caps and snapbacks featuring logos from the New York Yankees, New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. The Yankees and Mets styles are adorned with the teams’ respective colors and logos as well as two-toned logos. The Phillies cap also features a two-tone logo, and all caps have the ’47 Brand logo.
 
The brands and retailer were inspired to collaborate simply for their love of baseball. ’47 Brand said on its website, “In the late 1800s, an American professor was credited with bringing baseball to Japan, and a century later; Ivy League fashion would also be absorbed and developed by their culture. Today, Japan is a leader in sartorial streetwear, and our new MLB collaboration with United Arrows & Sons x Hombre Nino seems to be a symbol of mutual influence the two regions have on each other when it comes to sport and style.”
 
Though the Yankees, Mets and Phillies aren’t competing in the World Series, ’47 believes that the collaboration will appeal to a younger generation and “get the current audience interested in baseball, if they aren’t already.”
 
The collaboration capsule is available at United Arrows & Sons in Harajuku and is slated to launch in the US.
