Premium sports lifestyle brand, ’47 announced Tuesday its licensing agreement with Major League Baseball International, effective immediately.

The '47 flagship store in Boston, MA - '47

The agreement allows for the Boston-based brand to distribute and sell branded apparel, accessories and headwear in Europe, Asia, South Africa and the Middle East. ’47 is expanding its global team to accommodate the growing international business. The brand opened showrooms in Korea and Japan, is expanding distribution in Asia, South Africa and the Middle East, and will add key personnel to its European team in London.

"Major League Baseball, continues to grow its position as a leader in international sports and we look forward to contributing to that growth story by delivering best-in-class sports apparel, headwear and accessories to fans in the global marketplace," said '47 co-owner Steven D'Angelo. "This agreement deepens our relationship with MLB – a long standing, valued partner."

‘47 has been a major partner with the MLB for decades. The brand was founded by twin brothers, Arthur and Henry D’Angelo in 1947, and it is currently managed by Arthur’s four sons, Bobby, David, Mark and Steven. ‘47 is also a partner of the NFL, NHL, NBA and 900 collegiate programs.
