​Outnet launches exclusive Erdem capsule collection

Yoox Net-A-Porter’s The Outnet brand has launched an exclusive capsule with British designer label Erdem. The online outlet mall usually sells discounted inventory from major labels rather than specially-created collections, but has now linked with the 15-year-old designer fashion house for an offer of 25 styles ranging in price from £350 to £950.

It’s an interesting choice at present, given Erdem’s overall look, in a world where special occasions have been cancelled for much of the year and there’s a lot of uncertainty about their prospects for the rest of 2020 and into 2021. Erdem is known for special occasion dressing from smart suits all the way to full-on ballgowns.

So what does the new collection comprise? As mentioned, there are 25 styles. They’re “all fabricated in signature prints from his previous collections and reimagined in new silhouettes especially for this exclusive”.

The capsule includes a wide variety of dresses as well as tops, skirts and a signature pair of trousers.

Vikki Kavanagh, who’s interim MD of The Outnet, said that Erdem’s “truly distinctive look is much loved by our global customer”.
