Addition Elle launches footwear and accessories with Aldo

Addition Elle is diving into footwear and handbags with the help of fellow Canadian retailer Aldo Product Services.

 
True to Addition Elle’s brand mission, the collection launching this month is designed exclusively for the plus-size market with special design features.

For example, all the shoes offered are wide width (size 6-12) and have breathable inserts and padded memory foam - needed for long lasting wear - while the handbags strap lengths and width were adjusted to fit the plus-size silhouette. 

“We believe in Addition Elle’s mission of delivering modern fashion choices to all women and are proud to help them achieve their full potential in footwear by leveraging our experience and expertise,” said Jonathan Frankel, Vice-President of Aldo Product Services, in a news statement.

“We have assembled a top tier team to help create relevant, on trend, and distinctive styles for a perfectly balanced collection that meets their customers’ needs.” 
 
The collection offers a range of footwear options ranging from suede booties to rain boots and flats in modern silhouettes with select items made of genuine suede and leather. 
 
Footwear ranges from $45-$100, while the handbag collection ranges from $35-$60. The line will be available at Addition Elle stores across Canada and on additionelle.com as of this month. 
 
Addition Elle, launched in 1980, and Aldo, launched in 1972, are both based in Quebec.
