Adidas Skateboarding's Das Days experiential tour to launch in LA

Adidas Skateboarding has announced Das Days, a year-long event tour being called a "global skate party." The tour starts in LA this spring and includes stops in New York, Paris and Shanghai.

Adidas explains in a release that Das Days kicks off in LA with "live music, skating, and pop-up events during a block-party." The tour will include full days of programming which include both on and off-board activities that celebrate skate culture.

The LA stop for Das Days spans 10 days. Product launches, art exhibitions, video premiers, panels and workshops are included in the agenda. The kick-off event offers customers the opportunity to customize mini-versions of a newly launched skate shoe in a Maker Lab.

Events include skate trivia, trick contests with BBQs, and community art shows. The venues rotate between The Seventh Letter Gallery on Fairfax and Union Night Club on Pico. LA skate shop Brooklyn Projects hosts the final day of festivities which includes live music, food and drinks.

Adidas claims that its goal with Das Days is to create meaningful connections for each city's skate culture. After LA, Das Days heads to New York City this summer, before hitting Paris and Shanghai in the fall. 

LA's Das Days runs April 5 through 14. After the tour wraps, Adidas will continue the campaign by activating with retail partners in each city.
