Adidas Outdoor reveals new 'Myshelter' collection of technical urban jackets

Adidas Outdoor launched Myshelter, a collection of technical urban jackets designed to protect against the elements when out and about in the city.

Designed for urban city dwellers, the new Myshelter collection has been developed using feedback from consumers living in cities with specific weather conditions such as London, New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Adidas combined this feedback with its own technology and expertise in the outdoors to create a range of technical outerwear which combines weather protection and sleek urban style.

The first release from the new collection will be the Myshelter Rain Jacket, which features a fully seam-sealed construction to keep you dry and a breathable membrane to avoid trapping heat as you move through the city. It has also been designed to be both lightweight and robust, can easily be packed away while traveling, and features a black reflective logo on its highly visible bold yellow base, making it ideal for daily wear and city commuters. An adjustable stow-away hood also gives an extra layer of protection from the elements.

Adidas is hoping the new collection will encourage young city dwellers to get outside and explore their city no matter what the weather, especially in a world where many people are increasingly spending time indoors.
