Agent Provocateur appoints Fabrizio Malverdi as new CEO

Published
May 2, 2016

Agent Provocateur, the British luxury lingerie label, has announced that Fabrizio Malverdi has been named its new CEO.

Fabrizio Malverdi - Agent Provocateur

Malverdi, who has over 15 years’ experience leading luxury retail businesses, was most recently the Managing Director of Dior Homme, of Christian Dior Couture. Before that he was CEO of John Galliano SA, and was previously CEO and President of Givenchy. Malverdi has also worked for Vivienne Westwood, Martin Margiela and Calvin Klein Collection.

Fabrizio Malverdi commented: “I’m really excited to be joining Agent Provocateur, a very successful business with a unique heritage. I look forward to working with the existing management team to lead Agent Provocateur in the next phase of its growth, consolidating its position as a key player in the luxury fashion sector.”

Chris Woodhouse, Chairman of Agent Provocateur, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Fabrizio to Agent Provocateur and he joins us at a very exciting time in the company’s development. Renowned for his focus on creative product, growth and value creation, Fabrizio is a hugely respected professional, having previously led some of the most recognised international brands in the sector. I am sure that his extensive industry experience and skills will be invaluable to Agent Provocateur and I am very much looking forward to working with him."

Agent Provocateur had previously had the same CEO for ten years, Garry Hogarth, who left the company in February. The brand is present in more than 29 countries around the world with 111 stores.
