Alberta Ferretti taking Resort 2020 show to Monaco

Italian fashion house Alberta Ferretti is heading to Monaco to present its Resort 2020 collection. This special event will be held during Monte-Carlo Fashion Week, which runs May 15-19.

News about the fashion industry's upcoming Cruise shows is coming thick and fast. While certain labels have picked New York, Paris or Rome as the locations for their forthcoming shows, Alberta Ferretti is heading to Monaco to present its Resort 2020 collection. The Italian house will stage the show as guest of honor at Monte-Carlo Fashion Week.

The show will be held May 18 at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco, one of the Principality's most emblematic locations, founded in 1889 by Albert I, Prince of Monaco.

This year, Gucci is heading to Rome to stage its Cruise show, while Dior will present its collection in Marrakech and Chanel is showing in Paris. Prada and Louis Vuitton are both taking their mid-season shows to the Big Apple.
