Aldo and Misha Nonoo launch collaboration collection

Aldo and Misha Nonoo on Thursday announced the launch of their collaboration collection, MISHA NONOO x ALDO RISE, a collection of footwear and handbags. The collection is the second collaboration between the two brands.

The collection features two shoes and two bags named after cities and neighborhoods in the US: the New Haven, the Northampton, the New York and the Midtown. The New Haven and the Northampton are shoe styles, with the former being a chunky heel pump with multiple straps and the latter being a pointy toe ballerina with t-straps, and the New York and Midtown styles are a croc-embossed, synthetic leather tote and a cross-body bag, respectively.

Misha Nonoo is a Bahrain-born womenswear designer based in New York City. She debuted her eponymous line in Fall 2011, and was a finalist of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, International Woolmark Prize. The collaboration with Aldo debuted at the Misha Nonoo runway show at New York Fashion Week in February.
