Alice + Olivia is putting its fashionable stamp on CBD beauty

Alice + Olivia is making inroads into the beauty industry with a little help from Kush Queen.

The luxury fashion label has teamed up with the upmarket cannabis brand to create a series of personal care topical products with CBD, WWD reports. The line, which has been christened ‘Alice + Olivia x Kush Queen', will launch on September 1, comprising a bath bomb, a body lotion and a bubble bath -- all of which feature a light lavender scent to promote sleep and relaxation.

"When I was learning about Kush Queen and Olivia, I immediately saw the alignment of our brands with her empowerment of women through wellness," creative director and chief executive officer Stacey Bendet told WWD. "A partnership between our brands was a natural and complementary fit."

The move is Alice + Olivia's latest foray into the world of all things beauty and wellness, following previous collaborations with the Kiss-owned imPRESS nail line that led to multiple limited-edition, press-on manicure collections. In June, the US label joined forces with the cosmetics giant Maybelline New York on a three-piece makeup collection that launched exclusively in Asia.
