Allbirds launches new Artist Series with Bráulio Amado

Sustainable footwear and apparel brand Allbirds has teamed up with NYC-based Portuguese graphic artist and illustrator, Bráulio Amado, to launch two exclusive pairs of Tree Dashers, as part of its new Artist Series.

Known for working on everything from record covers, to music posters and videos, Amado has an energetic and ever-changing style recognized for his colourful designs. 

For the very first artist collaboration, Bráulio added his signature colourful style and bold prints to two exclusive Tree Dasher designs including its laces and soles. The artist also created custom packaging, and one-of-a-kind artwork that comes with each shoe.

The partnership will directly support Sage NYC and the Ali Forney Center — two NYC-based non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The shoes are now available online and at Allbirds’ Seoul, Soho, and Hayes stores, as well as Century City and Abbot Kinney. Allbirds currently operates stores across North America, Asia, and Europe.

Last month, the San Francisco-based company filed for its long-expected initial public offering (IPO) in the U.S. as it continues to ride the wave of increasing consumer demand for eco products.
