Alpha Industries and Stutterheim launch raincoat collaboration

Published

Alpha Industries tapped the Swedish brand to craft new takes on some of its classic styles. The unisex collection will be available at Stutterheim's New York City flagship store.

The new collaboration includes three unisex pieces based on traditional Alpha Industries jackets, the MA-1 Bomber, the M-65 Fishtail Parka, and the N-3B Weather Parka. The resulting jackets offer a waterproof, more minimal take on Alpha Industries’ jackets, with the inclusion of the American brand’s signature detailing such as its signature red tag.

The Alpha collaboration is available on Stutterheim's online store and New York City flagship. Prices for the collection start at $395 for the MA-1 Bomber jacket, which comes in olive green and navy blue, and go up to $595 for the N-3B Weather Parka, available in teal.

Alpha Industries was founded by Samuel Gelber in 1959. It began as an army jacket supplier before branching into commercial retail. In addition to the United States, the brand is available in Europe, Japan, South Africa, Korea and New Zealand.

Stutterheim is based in Sweden and has stores in Stockholm and New York City. It is also sold at retailers around the world in countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Italy and the United Kingdom.
