Altuzarra releases tenth anniversary capsule

In honor of its 10 year anniversary, Altuzarra has announced the release of a limited-edition capsule, following the soft launch of the label's e-commerce last month. 

A collection of revived pieces from the archives aptly named "The One That Got Away," each item in the capsule was selected by ten of founder Joseph Altuzarra's friends and collaborators. According to a press release, "each participant was asked to select a piece from a past collection they wish they had gotten, but didn’t have the chance to."

The capsule includes 12 ready-to-wear pieces and 3 accessories, and will be available exclusively at Barney’s New York, Joyce in Hong Kong, Joseph in London, and Germany's Theresa and mytheresa.com, as well as on Altuzarra's online platform, this month.

“All of the women we invited to collaborate for this project embody the Altuzarra woman," the designer said in the brand's release. "This has been such a special project for me, because it gave me the opportunity to look back at the last 10 years through the eyes of ten of my closest friends and muses.”

Collaborators include Carine Roitfeld, Caroline Issa, Cindi Leive, Evan Rachel Wood, Indya Moore, Jenna Lyons, Melanie Huynh, Sarah Rutson, Shu Pei Qin and Vanessa Traina.

In addition to this new release, the label plans to open a pop-up shop in New York in February.
