Amazon appoints Christine Beauchamp president of fashion division
Amazon Fashion has a new woman in charge. While the Amazon Fashion division had been helmed by Catherine Lewis-Beaudoin since 2013, it will soon see the arrival of a new manager - after Lewis Beaudoin's departure last month, Amazon has selected Christine Beauchamp.
Beauchamp will take up the position with the e-commerce giant after a number of valuable experiences in the sector: previously CEO at Victoria's Secret Beauty, she has also served as brand president at Ann Taylor. Spending 9 months as Global Brand President for the brands Lauren, Chaps, American Living and Ralph for the Ralph Lauren group in 2015, Beauchamp rejoined the Boston Consulting Group as a senior consultant in 2016.
The Harvard and Princeton graduate will be tasked with making Amazon shine on the fashion market, by continuing to promote its current range and by seeking out focussed partnerships. Beauchamp will take up the role as president of Amazon Fashion before the start of the summer.
