Ami opens first store in Los Angeles

Published
Feb 14, 2023

Mid-January, Alexandre Mattiussi's first boutique opened in Los Angeles at 8583 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. A first for the French designer, a little over a year after the opening of his first address in New York, in Soho.

AMI first store in Los Angeles has just opened on Melrose avenue

In a fresh and new building, the Ami store opens on large windows reflecting the sky of Los Angeles and on the facade now hosts the name of the French brand and its famous logo "Ami de coeur" in black.

With its high ceilings, the Ami store is reminiscent of Paris with its wood and black checkerboard floors, a nod to the Parisian hôtels particuliers. A long grey-and-white marble counter displays small leather goods and jewelry and on the backlit gold racks are displayed men's and women's clothing.

Interior design at AMI Los Angeles' store reflects Parisian style

Resonating perfectly with the silver lamé dress model of Ami's collection, the disco wall, all mirrored and faceted, reflects the collections and the shelves presenting the Ami handbag collections. An outdoor terrace will also soon be installed to allow customers to relax.

After New York and Los Angeles, the next AMI store will open in 10 days in Miami.
