Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada announces 5th edition

Canada's only apparel and textile sourcing show, Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada (ATSC), announced on Thursday its fifth annual edition, taking place at a new venue -- the Toronto Congress Centre.

Running August 17-19, 2020, the trade show aims to connect Canadian retailers with the world’s major apparel and textile manufacturers. 

After doubling in size in 2018 and expanding in 2019, ATSC 2020 is expected to be the largest edition yet, with international exhibits and delegations from over 30 countries. 

This year, the show will offer new interactive events and industry connection opportunities, like a runway show featuring looks from local Canadian designers, as well as a seminar series, which will focus on sustainability, compliance and technology. 

A range of speakers from both Canada and abroad are confirmed to speak, including Julia K. Hughes, president of the United States Fashion Industry Association, Helen Harakas, executive director, Brands for Canada, and more. 

The show is expected to be attended by more than 300 apparel and textile companies. Over the years, is has attracted companies such as Joe Fresh, Simons, Giant Tiger, Adidas, Hudson's Bay, Canadian Tire and Aritzia. 

ATSC entered the North American market via Toronto in 2016 and has since expanded to Montreal, Miami and Berlin.

For the third consecutive year, ATSC will also hold a one-day-only, free Montreal Matchmaking Event on August 21, 2020, featuring specially selected exhibits from ATSC 2020, including apparel & textile producers, partners, speakers and a fashion show, all with a distinctive Montreal flair.
