Vancouver-based outdoor retailer Arc'teryx unveiled this week its new Arc'teryx Trips program.

Launching next year, the summer/fall 2020 program will feature 11 guided, small group trips to ten remote destinations around the world such as the Swiss Alps, in Switzerland; the Ghost River Valley, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Canada; Corsica, located off the coast of France; and to the Dolomites in Italy, to name a few.

The excursions will be centered around the main sports from Arc'teryx core product categories including mountaineering, trail running, rock climbing, and hiking/trekking.

"Arc'teryx is founded on the idea that there is always a better way," said George Weetman, vice president of brand & digital commerce at Arc'teryx, in a news statement.

"Our products are designed with solutions for the outdoor elements in mind, and through our new Arc'teryx Trips program, we're rethinking the way that people experience spectacular and remote destinations by providing an immersive experience to put our products to the ultimate test."

The trips were designed to help adventurers advance their technical expertise alongside like-minded explorers and elite guides that were carefully selected by Arc'teryx.

Depending on the destination, group trips will be for four to 12 guests to allow participants to have a more personalized experience.

Registration will begin on October 15, 2019, with trips ranging from $2,300 – $7,600 USD per person, including taxes.

A number of athletic and technical brands have chosen to launch more programs that involve its community such as Lululemon with its in-store community spaces offering group classes, as well as Decathlon, which offers workshops for product testing, and more.

Arc’teryx was founded in 1989. It was purchased in 2005 by Finland-based Amer Sports. It currently operates over 50 branded stores and is distributed through more than 3,000 retail locations worldwide.
