The teen fashion and accessories retailer has pledged to raise $350,000 for the foundation through a combination of slipper sales and $1 donations from customers at checkout.

Its slipper collection features a variety of styles including holiday styles and even styles from the company’s IaurDIY collection, ranging from $6.90 to $29.90.

A percentage of proceeds will go to benefit Starlight Children's Foundation Canada's Ward + Robes program, which creates unique hospital gowns for hospitalized teens.

"Starlight's mandate to empower young adults through the Ward + Robes program is aligned with our belief that fashion should be celebrated with fearless enthusiasm," said Mark Dervishian, Ardene's COO, in a news statement.

"Through the Ardene Foundation, our company's dedicated charity organization, we hope to bring the joy of self-expression to teens in need. We've also been longtime supporters of Starlight, previously sponsoring initiatives across the country, which makes this partnership that much more special."

Ardene slipper and donation programs is now available in stores across Canada and online at ardene.com through the holiday season.

The company launched in Canada in 1982 and now has over 250 Ardene locations across Canada.

It opened its first U.S. store in 2015 and now operates three U.S. locations.
