Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia last week opened a new store at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY. The store marks as the brand’s first retail location in Long Island and the fifth New York location.
The 6,000-square-foot store features the latest Aritzia collection in a rustic space featuring an exposed ceiling, wood columns, and herringbone wood raised panels, as well as custom marble accents and grey oak furnishings. The Long Island store joins four additional New York locations in White Plains and in Manhattan in SoHo, Flatiron, and Rockefeller Center.
The retailer announced in spring plans to open a store in Los Angeles this fall as well as a new concept store for its in-house label Babatron at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. Babatron is one of many in-house brands that Aritzia operates, in addition to Wilfred and TNA that both have concept stores in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
Aritzia currently operates 74 stores in North America, 18 of which are in the United States. The retailer recently opened at the Prudential Center in Boston and plans to open 5 additional stores in Canada and the US by the end of the year.
