Arizona Muse shows off Chanel SS17 collection in new video

The French fashion house has revealed a campaign video for its spring/summer 2017 collection, fronted by Arizona Muse. The video stars the American model showcasing silhouettes and standout pieces from the collection, due in Chanel boutiques from February 27.

Presented in Paris back in October 2016, the Chanel spring/summer 2017 collection channels a subtly fresh, feminine and modern elegance, sprinkled with chic streetwear inspirations.

To mark the collection launch, the French luxury label has revealed a video featuring Arizona Muse, seen in a kind of café or tea room with a bright, fresh minimalist decor, dressed in various emblematic pieces from the new highly feminine spring/summer wardrobe.

The model can be seen wearing a series of silhouettes, where lightweight and comfortable materials are matched to perfection, accompanied by jewelry and more urban accessories, such as caps worn sideways, which caused a sensation at the show. Strings of pearls and pendants adorn necks and oversized earrings abound.

While tweed -- the French fashion house's signature fabric -- is obviously on the agenda, here it is matched with lightweight materials like lace, crêpe and silk.

The iconic Chanel jacket gets wide jersey braiding and big Velcro fastenings, while a long, pleated, colorful chiffon dress gets a psychedelic print with a fresh, modern feel.

The collection is due in Chanel boutiques from February 27.
