Asos Black and AV Robertson team up for holiday capsule

Asos Black, the contemporary luxury collection from Asos, and AV Robertson have collaborated on a capsule collection for Christmas.

The collection is a combination of Robertson’s brand essence and aesthetic and popular Asos silhouettes. Some pieces from the collection include A-line skirts, boxy tops, and oversized dresses in royal blue, red and black, as well as matching embellishments like a box bag, chunky sandal and platform heels.
 
Robertson said about the collection, “Being a huge fan of Asos makes it even more exciting to be collaborating with Asos Black. We worked together on making the collection the right fit for the Asos customer and I am thrilled with the results.”

Amie Victoria Robertson is a London-based fashion designer and a recent graduate from Central Saint Martins. In addition to working on her own collection, she has experience working for Marc Jacobs and interning at Christian Dior Couture and Alexander Wang. The Asos design team contacted Robertson to collaborate on a collection after they fell in love with her modern silhouettes and embellished artworks at her graduate fashion show last summer.
 
“As a design team, we scout for new talent at every GFW, and Amie stood out as an amazing talent at the CSM show,” said Vanessa Spence, Asos Design Director. “We loved her use of embellishment and her collection demonstrated a true understanding of the craft. We knew it would translate brilliantly to Asos Black, with its clean, modern, going-out aesthetics.”
