Freshly launched by LVMH, Prada and Cartier, Aura Blockchain Consortium, the dedicated luxury industry blockchain platform, which is registered in Geneva, is bolstering its management with the appointment of Daniela Ott as its general secretary. She will report directly to the consortium's board of directors.

The renowned luxury sector executive holds a doctorate in Management and Consumer Behaviour from Université Paris Dauphine and an MSc in Management and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). She notably spent 15 years at Kering, serving in a range of roles at different brands, before leaving the company in 2014.
Having led strategy and merchandising at Balenciaga and strategy at the Gucci Group, Ott took on a series of senior management roles, including chief operating officer of the Kering Luxury division and CEO of Tomas Maier. "Across these roles and groups, Daniela successfully built luxury brands [...] and worked in Paris, New York and London," explained the non-profit in a release.
After Kering, Ott became CEO of Eden Being, which is owned by Oetker Luxury Hotel Collection, before founding consulting firm Agape Strategy Consulting in 2019, offering development guidance to both established and innovative companies operating in the fashion industry.
