B michael America receives investment from Brett Howroyd

Fashion label, b michael America announced on Monday that it has received an investment from entrepreneur Brett Howroyd.

Brett Howroyd, son of Act-1 Group founder Janice Bryant Howroyd, personally invested in b michael America based on his belief of the brand’s integrity and growth. Creative Director B Michael and b michael America CEO and Chairman Mark-Anthony Edwards said the investment will aid in the brand’s global expansion.
 
B Michael developed and launched his first couture collection in 1999 after working with Oscar de la Renta and Louis Feraud. The CFDA member launched his ready-to-wear line b michael America Red at Macy’s in 2012, and he was recently featured in the NYCEDC’s Made in NY: Fashion campaign.

Howroyd currently serves as a Director of Act-1 Group, the $3 billion staffing and human resource firm with 17,000 clients and 2,600 employees in 19 countries
