Babor launches first ever North American collaboration

Luxury skincare line Babor has partnered with the All Woman Project for a first ever North American collaboration of limited edition product in an unretouched campaign designed to celebrate diversity in beauty.

The All Woman Project x Babor Beauty Ampoule Set consists of three phases of products. The set contains seven high concentration active beauty boosters combined in a single dose ampoule that promises immediate visible results. It also contains four hyaluronic acid moisturizing active ampoules and three rejuvenating night ampoules.

Benjamin Simpson, SVP of Marketing at Babor said the campaign features "influential women, models, activists, mothers, designers, editors, and more. These women showcase a diverse range of beauty that is not retouched or Photoshopped."

Simpson continued explaining that the "campaign utilizes beautiful visuals that capture empowerment, strength, inclusivity, imperfections, and true beauty, while provoking an important conversation that is at the forefront not just of the beauty and fashion world, but within every part of a woman's life today."

Inclusivity has become a conversation topic and a profitable trend that brands are increasingly following for the North American market. While once an underrepresented industry, plus size and diversity in fashion and beauty have evolved in part due to activist plus size models and the use of social media for consumer feedback.

J.Crew and Madewell recently launched extended denim sizes, as will Target in a new private label line launching next month. Calvin Klein is currently rolling out new installments of a family focused campaign that focuses on diversity and inclusivity.

Plus size model and activist Ashley Graham made news this week with the announcement that she landed a Revlon campaign. Previously, both Rihanna's Fenty Beauty and Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics launched beauty collections offering makeup designed to match with 30 or more skin tones.

"The All Woman Project x Babor product and campaign collaboration enables girls and women worldwide to feel positive and confident about themselves, regardless of their appearance or perceived flaws," Tim Waller, President of Babor North America explains.

All Woman Project co-founder Clementine Desseaux commented, "It's important that the beauty industry represents all kinds of beauties. As a French woman who suffered from being 'different' growing up in my country, it's important to me that beauty brands set an example and take a stand for diversity."

The All Woman Project x Babor limited edition set is available in North America for $40 exclusively on a co-branded website. All campaign photos and packaging feature unretouched images revealing the women's true age, skin tone, texture, color and size.
