Baldwin opened this month its first retail location in Dallas in the Knox neighborhood. The store marks as the Kansas City-based brand’s fourth retail location in the US.

Founded in 2009 by Matt Baldwin, the denim brand turned lifestyle label was named one of GQ’s Best New Menswear Designers in America in 2013 and was one of the finalists of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2015. The brand opened its first store in its home city of Kansas City and later opened stores in Leawood, KS and New York City.

The new Dallas store features details that reference the city, such as a garden of wheat by the entrance. The interior is reminiscent of the label’s other stores featuring grey, brushed metal racks, light wooden tables, and a concrete floor. In addition, the walls feature original illustrations of flowers and plants.

The brand said on its website, “We are drawn to the vibrant, upbeat vibe of the neighborhood and felt it was the perfect place to open up our latest shop.”

Baldwin also has plans to open a store in Los Angeles.
