Balenciaga Eyewear launches exclusively at Dover Street Market
Available exclusively at the retailer’s stores and on doverstreetmarket.com, the collection takes the eyewear of the Parisian maison in-house, joining all the other brands in Kering’s fashion portfolio.
Marcolin Group, which works with high-end brands including Bally, Tom Ford and Moncler, had previously handled Balenciaga’s eyewear.
Celebrating the start of the new contract with Kering, the new eyewear collection includes a selection of sunglasses and prescription frames that will be showcased at six individually designed pop-ups at Dover Street Market in Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York City, London, Singapore and Beijing.
The pop-ups will feature site-specific installations of custom-built glowing podiums and freestanding, mirrored walls. Logo carpets and other graphic elements are used to make the space stand out, while light boxes show the new Balenciaga Eyewear campaign. The collection is showcased in suspended custom stands.
The Balenciaga Eyewear line will be available to purchase exclusively at Dover Street Market from 2-9 January.
