Balenciaga picks star-studded cast for new ad campaign
The ‘friends’ of Balenciaga feature in the luxury label’s new advertising campaign, which will surely not go unnoticed. Giant-sized portraits of some of the label’s celebrity fans will be displayed on a number of iconic buildings in the world's fashion capitals, starting from the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris. Among the names in the star-studded cast, Isabelle Huppert, Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber, who has been seen front-row at the most recent shows by the Kering-owned luxury label.

Kardashian, the long-time muse of Olivier Rousteing at Balmain who recently collaborated with Fendi, showcasing her skincare line Skims, has lately been associated with Balenciaga and its creative director Demna Gvasalia, who has designed the clothes worn by Kardashian at several special events, in which she caught the eye with her stunning outfits.
Each of the celebrities has been pictured by Australian artist and photographer Stef Mitchell in familiar surroundings. Kardashian at her house in Calabasas, the neighbourhood favoured by Los Angeles's celebs, Huppert in her Parisian apartment. Model Tommy Blue was also pictured at home, while his colleague Marie-Agnès Diene picked her own artist studio as venue, and Justin Bieber his favourite Los Angeles studio.

All the stars wear looks featuring the latest statement items and models by Balenciaga, which are all available online on the label's e-shop. The pictures from the photo-shoots will be released in stages in the course of the season.
