Scott Sternberg, founder of Band of Outsiders, announced that he is launching a new "more democratic" clothing brand named Entireworld.

According to Sternberg's Vimeo announcement, Entireworld represents "everything [he] love[s] about clothing," including color, fabric and its connection to history, film and music. The Band of Outsiders founder says the new label was created "without compromising design or quality."

Although Sternberg does not specifically explain what Entireworld will look like, imagery in the video implies the collection will be brightly colored basics for men and women. A merchandised slide towards the end of the video shows tanks and underwear for women. Hoodies, crew neck ringer tees with contrast collars, button down woven shirts, pants and socks are also included in the image.

Sternberg narrates, “I started thinking about this idea of utopia, building a perfect world from scratch."

The video is designed to invoke cultural nostalgia dating back decades: a young Mick Jagger performs on stage, Jeff Bridges stands in the grocery aisle as The Dude in The Big Lebowski, and a lovestruck Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz in Clueless is juxtaposed with Andy Warhol's Soup Can and piles of garment waste in a landfill.

After filing for bankruptcy in 2015, Sternberg left Band which was relaunched through the support of a Belgian holding company as a men's label. The brand opened a pop-up at Fred Segal last month.

Sternberg says that Entireworld is "A blank slate with a sense of logic and integrity, optimism and purity."

Entireworld launches April 2, 2018.
