Barneys announces same-day delivery in NYC

Barneys New York on Monday rolled out its new same-day delivery service for online shoppers.

 
Shoppers in New York City may receive same-day delivery for online orders placed before noon Monday through Friday and before 10AM on Saturday (same-day delivery is not available on Sundays). Orders placed before noon during the week will arrive between 5-8pm and orders placed on Saturday before 10AM will arrive between 3-6pm, both excluding holidays.
 
The same-day delivery service is not available throughout all of New York City just yet. The luxury retailer offers the delivery service in Manhattan and a number of neighborhoods in Brooklyn, including Williamsburg, Park Slope, Dumbo, Fort Greene, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Park Slope, and Boerum Hill among others.

In addition, same-day service is not available for orders containing sale or pre-order items as well as orders placed on the Barneys New York iPhone or iPad apps.
