Rémy Gomez, CEO of the perfume maker Beauté Prestige International (BPI), is stepping down to "devote himself to more personal projects," the group said. Before joining BPI fifteen years ago, Gomez worked at the companies Procter & Gamble, LVMH and Hermes Parfums.
The Japanese company Shiseido, which is the sole shareholder and owner of BPI, will name his successor. In the meantime, Eric Henry, COO and member of BPI’s executive committee, will serve as acting CEO. Henry joined BPI in 2001 after spending 17 years at Clarins, then four years at Guerlain.
Founded in 1990, BPI includes in its portfolio the fragrance brands Issey Miyake, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Zadig&Voltaire and Azzedine Alia, which will soon introduce its first fragrance.
