Beauty brand Laline eyes Canada with store opening

International bath, body and lifestyle retailer Laline has set its eyes on Canada and officially made its first foray into the country this week, with plans to open six other locations in Ontario over the next year.

 
Its first Canadian location opened at CF Sherway Gardens in Ontario in the mall's new Nordstrom Wing on Tuesday. 
 
The store spans 750 square feet and carries an assortment of the Israel-based brand’s well-being products including body care items, bath products, fragrances, skincare, gift sets and textile products, as well as various bath sponges, pumices and candles. 

"Our new stores in Canada will be tailored after Laline's unique design concept that offers a complete in-store pampering experience for customers," said Lital Frankel, Laline's VP of marketing, in a news statement. "From our airy, open-concept and dreamy store design - completely outfitted with a bathtub for the complete customer ambiance - to our unique product range with a variety of fragrances, textures and ingredients, the Canadian consumers are in for a new and exciting experience."
 
Laline offers branded products in a range of 10 scent series, collectively dubbed "The World of Scent". Signature scents include Vanilla Pink Pepper, Lemongrass Verbena and Violet Amber.
 
The line consists of more than 20 products per scent and, according to the company, “addresses several wellness benefits including stress relief, relaxation, nourishment and happiness.”
 
Laline was founded in 1999 by Revital Levi and Merav Cohen. The company currently has over 100 stores in Israel and across the world, in locations including Japan, San Francisco, Hawaii and Spain. 
 
Laline is a brand division under the Fox Group, which also manages franchise operations of international retailers like American Eagle, Nike, Foot Locker, Mango, Urban Outfitters, The Children's Place, Billabong, Anthropologie and Free People.
